1914 - The Patchwork Girl of Oz - It's a whirlwind of laughter, pathos and illusion

When famine strikes their Munchkinland home, young Ojo and his weary guardian Unc Nunkie embark on a perilous pilgrimage to Oz’s legendary Emerald City. Their path collides with reclusive alchemist Dr. Pipt, whose six-year experiment births Scraps—a whirlwind of stitched-together chaos brought to life by forbidden magic.

In one explosive moment of cotton-stuffed anarchy, Scraps’ uncontrolled glee shatters a vial of petrifying elixir, freezing three souls in stone: a devoted mother, a lovestruck suitor, and Ojo’s only family.

Now this mismatched quartet—a determined child, a guilt-ridden magician, his heartbroken daughter clutching a miniature statue of her betrothed, and the very patchwork disaster who caused it all—must race across Oz’s surreal landscapes. Their mission: recover impossible ingredients guarded by absurdity itself, from a clover that defies nature’s math to a mythical beast whose tail hairs repel capture.

But their quest draws the eye of envious Jinjur, whose statue-snatching schemes and legal traps threaten to shatter their fragile hope. Can chaos and innocence unite to mend what magic broke?
