A.M.R lands on Anjunadeep Explorations with ‘Compass / Drift’.
Qatari DJ and producer Amro Hachicho has spent over 15 years refining a sound rooted in melody and anchored by hard-earned skill in the studio. Making his Anjuna debut in 2017 with a remix of Above & Beyond’s ‘Love Is Not Enough’ featuring Zoë Johnston, A.M.R first released on Anjnuadeep via the ‘Explorations 17’ VA compilation with ‘Central Park’, a collaboration with Mango. More recently he returned in 2025 with ‘Compass’ on James Grant’s ‘Movement Vol. 5’. The track was premiered with a stunning livestream filmed on the Algarve coastline in Lagos, Portugal.
Away from the label, A.M.R has built a deep and consistent body of work. His two studio albums, ‘A Place For Everything’ (2020) and ‘Familiar Faces’ (2023), both released on Monstercat, showcase a producer comfortable with everything from club-ready progressive to chilled electronica. His music has found a natural home on SiriusXM Chill, where he has received sustained support in recent years, alongside notable sync placements in global videogame titles such as Rocket League and Roblox.
A respected presence both locally and internationally, A.M.R remains a regular fixture across Doha’s club circuit and has received coverage from Mixmag MENA, while continuing to earn support from some of dance music’s most influential names, including Tiësto, Armin van Buuren, and Above & Beyond.
