If much of the mindset and mantra behind Above & Beyond over the last quarter of a century has been born from the idea of connection, then their fifth artist album ‘Bigger Than All Of Us’ is best summed up in one word: reconnection. It’s been seven years since the trio released their last electronic dance album, Common Ground. Now, in 2025 the trio return with a collection of 16 brand new tracks showcasing their signature emotional songwriting and melodic depth.

Ahead of Friday’s full album release, Above & Beyond deliver a sneak peak of what’s to come with the release of ‘Letting Go’, a collaboration with German singer-songwriter Malou.

"This track offers a different flavour than the rest of the album," says Above & Beyond’s Jono Grant. "It’s haunting and heartfelt, with Malou’s vocal bringing real intimacy. The jazz-influenced harmony gave us space to explore a more soulful side, and I loved weaving in some classic Above & Beyond piano to tie it all together."

Her first collaboration with the British trio, Malou’s captivating vocals and melodies are already well-known to the Anjuna audience, having previously co-written and performed the track ‘Breathing’ alongside Ben Böhmer and Nils Hoffman. She also recently collaborated with Rezident on his recent album ‘Feeling Fades’ on Anjunadeep.

"Working with Malou was a joy – her delivery is so honest and effortless," continues Jono.

“Letting Go is an incredibly special song to me”, says Malou, “and I was excited at the opportunity to collaborate with Above & Beyond as I’ve always been a big fan of their music. This song is made with love and a real piece of art where I expressed myself – not only with the words and the melodies but also the production for the first time".
