Alex Wann presents his debut original production on Defected, ‘Right’. Having earned respect from leaders of the scene, including revered artists Keinemusik, CamelPhat and global superstar Kelis, Alex Wann’s 2024 release ‘Peperuke’ (featuring singer-songwriter Nes Mburu) became a summer anthem that is still on the rise to this day. Alex Wann was then called up to mark Defected’s 25th anniversary with a remix of FCL’s house staple ‘It’s You’. Continuing to build on his relationship with the London label through 2025, Alex Wann delivers a severe house heater with major bounce – ‘Right’. With traces of his Afro house inspirations melding with hard-hitting house designed for the club, the record has already seen support from the likes of Solomun, Liva K, Major League DJz, Arodes and Andrea Oliva. With more to come from the Parisian producer and DJ, ‘Right’ showcases an evolved Alex Wann at his most refined.
