Years after taking the fall for his son Darius’s crimes, former gangster James "Animal" Allen serves life at Folsom Prison. During a prison riot, Animal is transferred to Susanville, where he learns his other son, James Jr., has been framed for murder by someone inside. Forced back into the fight to protect his son, Animal battles for justice while Darius, now reformed, works with a lawyer to clear his brother’s name.
