Because of Art and Steven Weston join forces for collaborative double single ‘To The Heart / We Go Again’ on Anjunadeep.
Following a stellar 2025, Because of Art has cemented his status as a true one-to-watch on the Anjunadeep roster, with momentum building across streaming, DJ support and global touring all at once. His March 2025 remix of Karyendasoul’s ‘B27’ surged to #1 on the Beatport Electronica chart, while ‘Fired Up’ has steadily grown into an Anjunadeep future classic, receiving continuous DJ support throughout last summer and now closing in on one million global streams. A Beatport Dance Top 10 record, ‘Fired Up’ has been backed by tastemakers like Gorgon City, Sam Divine, Kream, John Digweed and Hernan Cattaneo. With releases on Sasha’s Last Night On Earth, Stress Records, Nothing Else Matters, and Dosem’s HOUSTRIKE, Because of Art’s output last year covered everything from club bangers to ambient revisits, and deep house to snappy breakbeat. Live highlights include Anjunadeep Berlin at Ritter Butzke, Explorations in Dhërmi, Open Air London at the Old Royal Naval College, plus sets in The Hague, Malta, Amsterdam and Dubai, before rounding out the year on the label’s UK club run in Manchester and Glasgow. In parallel, Alex launched his own label and community project ART CLUB in early 2025.
Steven Weston brings a breadth of production and engineering experience to the collaboration. A long-established Anjunadeep fan favourite artist and Grammy-nominated producer, Steven has contributed to records by artists such as Rudimental, alt-J and will.i.am, while also building a distinct body of work released via Anjunadeep through three EPs, most recently the ‘Give Me Something EP’ (2024) which featured UK singer/songwriter Ormella on the title track. Equally at home in live and club settings, he has performed alongside artists like Ladyhawke and Charli XCX, and is known for his emotive live performances such as the ‘Alter The Flow EP’ live from London’s Asylum Chapel with RHODES, Låpsley and Taė, and ‘Give Me Something’ live from The Old Church with Ormella. With regular airplay, a string of editorial playlist features across major DSPs and his regular radio show ‘All In Colour’, Steven’s contribution adds a refined, emotionally detailed counterpoint to Because of Art’s high-energy, club-tested sound.
