Rome’s smoothest con artist meets his match in a widow with a habit of outliving husbands!
An unscrupulous con man, Aldo Bondi (Ernie Kovacs), makes his money by comforting and taking advantage of rich widows. Aldo is thrown for a loop, though, when he falls for the lovely Baroness Sandra (Cyd Charisse). Soon the swindler is involved in an odd scheme that hinges on the wealth of his coterie of widows and the time difference between Rome and New York City. However, things quickly get out of hand, especially when Aldo’s relationship with Sandra doesn’t go as planned.
