When Sihle wants to go on an expensive but valuable trip to Cape Town, Thuli finds that she doesn’t have the means to pay for the trip. When she realizes that everyone has side hustles and investments whereas she solely depends on her salary, Thuli tries to hop onto the "multiple streams of income" bandwagon with Menzi. They take advantage of the rolling blackouts due to loadshedding to sell "survival kits" to their neighbours. But juggling a side hustle and a full time job proves tricky for Thuli. Something has to give.
