German live electronic duo Calcou return to Anjunadeep Explorations with ‘24’.

Comprised of Stefan Merz and Thea Alien, Calcou have quickly become one of the label’s standout development acts since making their Explorations debut with ‘Green Hills’ and the acclaimed ‘Now, What? EP’ last autumn. Their blend of organic instrumentation and forward-thinking electronica has resonated strongly with audiences, leading to standout collaboration ‘Screen’ alongside James Grant and Jody Wisternoff on Anjunadeep 16, plus a string of appearances at flagship label events including Anjunadeep Berlin, Open Air The Hague and Explorations Festival in Albania.

Away from the studio, Calcou continue to build a reputation as a compelling live act. Earlier this year they partnered with acclaimed Berlin videographer Max Hilsamer on a beautifully shot rooftop performance in Leipzig, secretly premiering new track ’24’ as an anticipated ID. Alongside rapid audience growth across streaming and social platforms, continued SiriusXM Chill support and coverage from outlets including Clash Magazine, Calcou’s momentum continues to build.
