*What is “Casa Vita” about?*
Iowan farm boy Early Lindstrom (Jean-Luc Bilodeau – “Baby Daddy”) is invited to a Major League baseball camp in Los Angeles. His mother (Sherilyn Fenn –“Twin Peaks”, “Gilmore Girls”) is thrilled but his father is not so supportive. At camp, Early impresses Coach Willis (Patrick Fabian) with a home run. Later, at dinner with his teammates, he becomes smitten with a chef named Ariana (Lindsey Morgan – “The 100”).
Wanting to get closer to Ariana, Early applies for a prep cook position in the restaurant. He gets the job but an annoyed Ariana refuses to train him. They slowly become closer and Ariana reveals that she is secretly planning on opening her own restaurant.
All seems to be going well and Early makes the team, but when a flirtatious sports agent gives him a congratulatory kiss in front of Ariana, she becomes furious and refuses to listen to his excuses.
At the final game, Early is playing brilliantly and he looks around to see everyone there supporting him. But then, suddenly, he suffers a shoulder accident, and at that very moment his career in sport ends forever. But all is not lost: Coach Willis offers him a coaching position in LA and Early professes his love to Ariana.
