In Bucharest, Romania, the priceless breastplate of Attila the Hun is stolen from the National Museum by Marcus Cutter’s gang, who also kill the curator, Radu. Meanwhile, in New York, Dr. Samantha Gaines, Radu’s former assistant, awaits the artifact for an exhibition. Agent Jake Adams informs her of the theft and Radu’s death, and she shares the legend that the breastplate reveals the location of the Sword of Mars, guarded by Cerberus and said to make Attila invincible. When Samantha’s brother Jack, a gambler, is kidnapped over a $2,000 debt, she travels to Romania at the behest of the sinister Kul Jae Sung, plunging into a supernatural adventure with Jake.
