A Bank robbery is blamed on Jesse James (Don ‘Red’ Barry), forcing Roy Rogers (Roy Rogers) to dig into the dirt behind the deposits. With George ‘Gabby’ Hayes (Gabby Whittaker) twisting every truth he hears, Roy must race against Harry Woods (Captain Worthington) and Arthur Loft (Sam Wyatt) to uncover the real plotters before he takes Jesse’s place on the wanted posters.
