One of Switzerland’s finest musical exports, Deetron collaborates with the multi-faceted Seth Troxler to rework ‘Each Step’ on Defected Records. First released in 2010, this collaboration between two titans of the scene was a future-facing dose of Chicago-inspired acid house and quickly became a secret weapon of selectors in the know. Now over 15 years later, the two world-class artists have continued to reach new heights; Deetron launched his own label, Character, while maintaining creative momentum through full-length studio albums and tastemaker EPs alike, including more recently underground runaway hit ‘Runnin’’. Similarly, since ‘Each Step’, Seth Troxler has remained a firm favourite of house heads globally thanks to his revered Circoloco residency, a Grammy-nomination alongside Diplo, and the launch of his Smokey Tails arts space / restaurant in London. Together the prolific pairing update ‘Each Step’ for 2026 dancefloors, transforming the funk-fuelled vibes of the OG into a bassy club-focussed Powerhouse Mix – complete with Deetron’s sleek production and Seth Troxler’s poetic vocal.
