This is a surprisingly understated Paella Western written and directed by Joaquin Romero that will appeal more to traditional, American-style westerns than those in Leone’s quirky wake. After committing a bank robbery by Frank (Jesus Puente) and Martin (Jose Bodalo) and betraying his partner , the result is that Frank is imprisoned , and then Martin becomes a wealthy landowner . In a deserted region , Martin , bound to a wheelchair , is attended by a gang of desperate ( Luigi Pistilli , Carlos Romero Marchent , Gaspar Indio Gonzalez ) to collect rents and murder anyone who resists .
