A tense thriller about wealth, wine and the art of bricklaying, BRICKS updates Edgar Allan Poe’s classic revenge tale ‘The Cask of Amontillado’ for the age of austerity and features an original score by David Julyan (MEMENTO, INSOMNIA, THE PRESTIGE). Rich stockbroker William (Blake Ritson, DA VINCI’S DEMONS) hires rough builder Clive (Jason Flemyng, THE CURIOUS CASE OF BENJAMIN BUTTON) to renovate his wine cellar. The two men couldn’t be more different: William is rich and refined; Clive is tough and uncouth. But in the shadowy cellar they find common ground… At least at first.
