Director’s Statement:
Inspired by my girlfriend’s experiences as a fashion designer, Sewing Machine explores the dark side of creative ambition. It’s a fun, eerie take on work–life balance and the terrifying feeling of being completely consumed by your craft.
Inspired by the playful, high-energy horror of Drag Me to Hell and Dead Silence, I wanted Sewing Machine to feel like a true “carnival ride”. Fast, visceral, and fun.
