South African Afro tech talent Karyendasoul returns to Anjunadeep with his first solo project on the label, the ‘Oh, Hello EP’.

First releasing music less than 10 years ago, Karyendasoul’s rise to being an internationally recognised talent has been impressively quick. His first album ‘Spiritual Takeover’ arrived in 2017, and in 2021 he released ‘iMali’ featuring Zakes Bantwini and Nana Atta which spent five weeks at #1 in the South African radio charts and later went on to achieve RiSA certified platinum status. In 2023 he released his second album, ‘We Live 4 Our Music’, and also joined the Anjunadeep roster via the ‘Explorations 22’ VA compilation album on which ‘Gemini’s’ with Da Capo featured. This was followed in early 2024 with the now much-loved ‘B27’, which appeared on both the ‘Anjunadeep South Africa’ VA compilation, on Anjunadeep 15 as the ‘Interlude Edit’, and with its own remix package featuring BOKKIEULT, Dosem, and Because of Art in 2025.

A growing presence on global Anjunadeep lineups, Karyendasoul has made appearances at both the 2024 and 2025 renditions of Anjunadeep Open Air Johannesburg and Cape Town. His music has taken him from underground club Archives in London for the Anjunadeep UK tour in late 2024, to Kenya’s MUZE Club for Anjunadeep Nairobi in March 2025. Most recently, Karyendasoul delivered standout sets at the latest edition of Explorations festival in Albania, playing three hours at The Cove alongside a peak time slot at Splendor. The new EP features three hard-hitting yet mellow cuts from the Afro tech artist who displays an increasingly distinctive and refined sound.
