Brazilian producer Maty Owl delivers his third Anjunadeep Explorations release, the ‘Sunset Rider EP’.
Having featured on several editions of James Grant’s compilation series ‘Movement’, Maty’s production talents have found their home in full on new label Anjunadeep Explorations. With six years’ worth of releases under his belt, Maty is a multi-instrumentalist and producer who has previously put out a wide range of music that showcases the breadth of his abilities; deep house on Soul Monument, ambient on Anjunadeep Reflections, and numerous self-recorded live acoustic mixes to accompany his more upbeat tracks.
Impressive momentum is building behind Maty who made his first Anjunadeep live appearance at Explorations Festival in Albania this summer, playing a 3-hour set to a packed Yacht Club. He returns for our Malta Weekender in October. In 2025 he has also remixed Jody Wisternoff and ALLKNIGHT’s ‘The Sky Below’, released his ‘Orquidea EP’ to critical acclaim, and landed EP track ‘Morning Waves’ on the Anjunadeep Explorations Label Sampler 02 vinyl releasing later this summer.
