Rising talents Danny P and Caleb Laurenson step up to remix a modern Defected classic from Nick Curly, ‘Underground’. Hailing from Dublin, Danny P is a young producer and DJ quickly gaining a strong reputation on the underground scene thanks to previous collaborations with Finn Penny, Riordan and Caleb Laurenson. He teams up with the latter once more for this remix, with Caleb Laurenson’s sound heard across BBC Radio 1 and Kiss FM and supported by top selectors like Chris Stussy, Obskür and Kettama. Originally released in 2012, Nick Curly’s ‘Underground’ received a remix from Dennis Ferrer soon after its release, with both versions remaining record box staples for house heads in the know to this day. Now lending their bouncy, energetic style to the record nearly 15 years later, Danny P & Caleb Laurenson’s take on the soulful house OG transforms ‘Underground’ from club groover to big room heater.
