British detective Slim Callaghan is hired to investigate a document theft, leading him to the Côte d’Azur. There, he finds himself entangled in a network of aristocratic spies and criminals. When Doria Varette, his key contact, is suddenly murdered, Callaghan realizes he’s up against powerful enemies in a dangerous pursuit for the truth.
