*What is “Angels Fall” about?*
Stranded in a small Rockies town after her car breaks down and funds run low, former Boston chef Reese Gilmore takes a job as a cook at a local diner while waiting for weeks-needed car parts. She fends off advances from the owner’s flirtatious son, Lo, but forms a complicated bond with Brody, a gruff, reclusive writer and ex-reporter. Reese’s troubles escalate when she reports witnessing what appeared to be a murder to Sheriff Rick Marsden, though no body is found. As suspicions rise, her troubled psychiatric history comes to light, casting doubt on her claims.
