"My hand… makes me do things…. kill…. kill… Push the Red!"
An astronaut discovers his own hand has a murderous intent. After crash landing, his disembodied hand, ends up in the possession of a naive student, Paul. Unaware it is possessed by a strange alien force, Paul becomes its unwitting host. As the hand commits a series of horrific murders. The town sheriff, played by Alan Hale, suspects Paul, ultimately leading to a confrontation with federal authorities. Only to discover that the fingerprints found at the crime scene match the missing, dead astronaut. The film culminates in a chilling and ominous conclusion, leaving the fate of the malevolent hand open to interpretation.
