*What is “Rip Tide” about?*
Teenage model Cora (portrayed by Disney star Debby Ryan) is the daughter of a powerful modeling agency executive and has long strived to meet her mother’s high expectations (Danielle Carter). But when an embarrassing video of her spreads online, Cora escapes the spotlight by heading to Australia to stay with her aunt Margot (Genevieve Hegney). Margot, dealing with her own personal struggles, welcomes Cora into her life — and what begins as a retreat soon turns into a journey of growth and self-discovery for them both.
