*What is “Romantically Speaking” about?*
Radio show host Ariel Cookson (Heather Morris – “Glee”) has made a career out of being honest on air and giving relationship advice to her listeners. But when her boyfriend, Jonathan, breaks up with her the night before her big live radio show, Ariel is too mortified to tell the audience.
She turns to her best friend, Nathan (Jonathan Bennett – “Mean Girls”, “Smallville”), who comes to her rescue at the live event. But as the curtain goes up on the show, the audience sees the two of them embrace, and assumes he is Ariel’s boyfriend, Jonathan.
The show’s success gets the attention of powerful radio executives Henry (Cameron Daddo – “The Mentalist”) and Penny Frasier (Teri Polo – “Meet The Parents”), who announce their plans for a new talk show. Ariel is at the top of their list, alongside her radio rival Bethany (Carly Steel -“Anger Management”).
What will happen when the truth comes out and will Ariel find true love?
