Belgian DJ, writer and producer Samm returns to Defected with his remix of Route 94’s house favourite ‘4Get The Girl’. Released in April 2026, Route 94’s love letter to UK deep house quickly found a home with house fans new and old, capturing listeners across Europe and across the pond after its long-awaited official release. Following the success of the original, and a peak-time rework from Texas duo Mellizos, Samm now brings his distinctive production style to ‘4Get The Girl’. Known for his captivating originals often influenced by the feel of hypnotic and soulful house, magnetic DJ sets and remixes for the likes of RÜFÜS DU SOL, Jazzy, The Bausa and WhoMadeWho, Samm has established himself as one of the scene’s most promising new-generation artists. His remix takes the understated feel of Route 94’s original and deepens its groove, adding a sleek, rolling energy while retaining the soulful character that made ‘4Get The Girl’ such a fan favourite.
