*What is “Samson” about?*
A narrator explains that the Hebrews had strayed from their path, leading to their subjugation by the ruthless Philistines. As the Philistines seize food from the Hebrews, Samson (Taylor James), a member of the tribe of Dan, and his brother Caleb (Greg Kriek) attempt to steal supplies while Samson playfully shares riddles. Their plan fails, and they are forced to flee as Philistine soldiers pursue them through the city. Meanwhile, Prince Rallah of the Philistines mercilessly kills a Hebrew named Tobias (James Ryan) for daring to ask for more food. When Samson and Caleb return home, their parents urge Samson to rise against the oppressors, reminding him that he was chosen from birth for this purpose. However, Samson, valuing peace over conflict, hesitates to embrace his destiny.
