When an eccentric Irishman named Mr. O’Casey bursts into 221B Baker Street, Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson are handed a baffling puzzle with a ticking clock. O’Casey and two strangers—a woman and a mysterious man—jointly purchased a winning sweepstakes ticket, tearing it into three distinct pieces for safekeeping. Now, with a fortune waiting to be claimed, the third partner has vanished into thin air. Without all three physical pieces presented together before midnight, the grand prize will be lost forever.
Sherlock Holmes (Ronald Howard) and Dr. John Watson (Howard Marion-Crawford) must navigate the foggy streets and shady underbelly of London to track down the missing ticket holder. But as the deadline rapidly approaches, Holmes begins to suspect that the partner’s disappearance might not be a simple case of cold feet, but a calculated ploy involving deceit and foul play.
Directed by Sheldon Reynolds, this sharp 1950s TV gem pairs clever detective work with relentless momentum. An essential watch for lovers of vintage murder mysteries, retro crime thrillers, old-school television classics, and timeless detective stories!
