Sherlock Holmes: The House of Fear (1945) | Basil Rathbone | Mystery Thriller [HD]

Mystery and murder await in the shadows of "Sherlock Holmes and the House of Fear" (1945).

Deep in the rugged hills of Scotland, a group of retired gentlemen known as "The Good Comrades" begins to die one by one in a series of bizarre and ritualistic accidents. Before each death, the victim receives a strange warning: seven orange pips. Sherlock Holmes (Basil Rathbone) and Dr. Watson (Nigel Bruce) are called to the isolated Drearcliff House to solve the puzzle. Is it a ghost from the past, or is one of the "comrades" a cold-blooded killer?

This atmospheric masterpiece is a brilliant adaptation of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s themes, blending high-stakes deduction with a classic "whodunit" mystery in a haunted mansion setting.

Director: Roy William Neill
