Seeking a quiet holiday, Sherlock Holmes (Arthur Wontner) and Dr. John Watson (Ian Fleming) visit their old friend Sir Henry Baskerville at his Dartmoor estate. However, their peaceful vacation is shattered when "Silver Blaze," a prized racehorse and the heavy favorite for the upcoming Barchester Cup, suddenly vanishes from his stables. When the horse’s trainer is found dead and a sinister web of betting fraud emerges, suspicion quickly spreads. Holmes soon uncovers a far darker conspiracy orchestrated by the criminal mastermind Professor Moriarty (Lyn Harding). With time running out before the race, Holmes and Watson must unravel the clues, survive lethal traps, and bring the mastermind to justice.
