*What is “Stan the Man” about?*
Stan Mann (Steven Chase) is a newly wealthy multimillionaire whose life revolves around women, gambling, and alcohol. He resides in a luxury five-star hotel, where the staff caters to his every whim. Nicknamed “Stan the Man” because of his excessive generosity, he becomes entangled in a crooked casino deal involving Russian mobsters and ultimately loses his entire fortune in a disastrous wager. Determined to drink away his misery, Stan is seriously injured during a liquor store robbery when he steps in front of a bullet meant for the clerk, Kristi (Anne Leighton). While hovering between life and death in the emergency room, a somewhat bitter angel grants Stan 30 days to turn his life around, atone for his past behavior, and discover his true love.
