A great white shark relentlessly stalks three kayakers out on a remote island. As they wait for help to arrive, the tide starts to rise, forcing them back into the deadly waters. Seeking a spectacular backdrop, they travel to a secluded, undiscovered rocky island for a glamorous outdoor photo shoot. The dream excursion instantly transforms into a blood-drenched nightmare when a massive, highly aggressive great white shark ambushes the group, brutally killing Jason and destroying their only means of transportation back to safety. Left stranded on a rapidly shrinking rocky outcrop with their kayaks completely obliterated, Sarah and Meghan soon realize the true horror is just beginning. As the ocean tide begins to rise, their tiny sanctuary is slowly swallowed by the sea, forcing the two terrified women directly back into the deadly, open water. With the monster relentlessly circling their position and waiting to pick them off one by one, the women must put aside their differences and devise a desperate, high-velocity survival plan to reach the distant mainland.
