Born out of a psychedelic experience, Talee first emerged on the scene in 2020 with his remix of Belgian Trance DJ Jonas Steur’s ‘Fall To Pieces’, landing straight into Spotify’s New Music Friday Dance and showcasing his unique flair. Following a successful debut, Talee released his first AA-side projects in 2022 on Berlin-based label Disco Halal, guided by label head Moscoman. He toured the projects at over 20 live shows across the Netherlands. Talee has also been moving through the Anjunadeep ecosystem for the past year, with James Grant and Jody Wisternoff remixing of one of his tracks for their Anjunadeep 15 compilation earlier this year. He also put his indie dance spin on Croquet Club’s ‘Don’t Say’ and performed a full live set at Anjunadeep Explorations 2024 in Albania.
Inspired by LCD Soundsystem, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, and James Blake, Talee’s ‘One Step At A Time EP’ showcases his diverse influences, blending heavy electronic basslines with nonchalant vocal hooks with an indie edge.
