*What is “The Little Ghost” about?*
For centuries, a young ghost has haunted a castle perched on a mountain above the quiet medieval German town of Eulenburg (“Owl burgh”), appearing one hour after midnight each night, never aging or interacting with anyone since the castle is closed during those hours. But when the clock tower undergoes repairs, something changes—the ghost becomes visible during the day, turns black, and starts acting aggressively. Meanwhile, a timid schoolboy named Karl finds himself in trouble after claiming that a ghost stole an antique watch during his class trip to the castle. No one believes him, and he becomes the main suspect. As several townspeople experience frightening encounters with the ghost, the truth eventually comes to light, and the ghost returns to normal after the disruption caused by the clock is resolved.
