A harmless accident turns into a race against time! After an evening out at his club, the well-meaning Dr. John H. Watson accidentally returns home to Baker Street wearing another gentleman’s coat by mistake. The mix-up takes a terrifying turn when the true owner of the coat is found brutally murdered late that very same night. Suddenly, the stolen garment becomes the most important piece of evidence in London. It is up to the brilliant Sherlock Holmes (played by Ronald Howard) and a deeply concerned Watson (played by Howard Marion-Crawford) to decipher the hidden clue within the coat and trace it back to a secretive ballerina and a dangerous blackmail conspiracy.
Directed by Sheldon Reynolds, this clever 1950s television masterpiece perfectly captures the vintage suspense, sharp dialogue, and cozy deduction style of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s universe. An absolute must-watch for fans of old-school detective films, classic British murder mysteries, retro TV shows, and golden age Hollywood crime cinema.
