Jason Philby, a soldier haunted by the tragic loss of his young son in an SUV explosion, now serves in Iraq where daily suicide bombings constantly remind him of his grief. When approached by an army scientist about an experimental virus designed to create suicide bombers, Jason grapples with the possibility that he might already be infected. As his perception of reality blurs, he must determine which explosions are real and which exist only in his mind.
