*What is “Viking Huntress: Rune of the Dead” about?*
In 811 AD, a poor family lives in isolation, deep in the forest several days from Birka. With hunting and fishing failing, the father, Joar, leaves on a desperate Viking raid and doesn’t return for a long time. Fearing he may be lost, his eldest daughter Runa takes over his duties. She misses him deeply and holds on to the hope that he’ll come back, but a growing sense of unease tells her their troubles are only beginning. There’s something wrong in the air, the wind, and the woods. While hunting one day, Runa finds a wounded warrior and brings him home. As he recovers, she learns he was sent to protect them from a coming evil—and he brings word of her father.
