*What is “Who Gets the Dog?” about?*
After years together, the spark has faded for Olive Greene and Clay Lonnergan. Clay, a struggling minor-league hockey goalie, feels suffocated by his career-driven doctor girlfriend, Olive. Although heartbroken by his request to split up, Olive eventually agrees to the breakup. The terms seem clear at first: she keeps the apartment, and he packs his bags. However, a major dispute erupts when Clay tries to take their beloved dog, Wesley, with him. With neither willing to back down on pet custody, a fierce battle begins, leaving poor Wesley caught in the middle and creating utter chaos.
