Director’s Statement:
I love using horror to explore desperation and what lengths someone will go to in order to escape, survive, avenge, or, in this case, resurrect. When we meet our lead character, a mother determined to bring back her deceased child, she is already past the point of no return. Whatβs at stake for her now is failure, and I found it interesting to build tension around the uncertainty (and consequences) of her goal. The film aims to be an unsettling chiller that delivers an emotional gut punch. Given its short runtime and little to no dialogue, it was a very satisfying challenge, and Iβm grateful to my small but mighty team for helping me bring it to life.
